We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated automatically as you use the Service.

• Portfolio data: investment positions, transaction history, and asset quantities you enter.
• Preferences: language, theme, and currency settings.

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the Service.
• Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system.
• Cookies and similar technologies used to maintain your session and preferences.

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
• Personalize your experience (language, theme, portfolio display).
• Generate AI-powered simulations and reports based on your portfolio data.
• Send you service-related communications (account confirmations, security alerts).
• Analyze aggregate usage to improve our features and performance.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

Portfolio View integrates with the following third-party services:

• Supabase — provides authentication, database storage, and backend infrastructure. Your data is stored in Supabase-managed databases.
• Google (OAuth) — if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. Your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Yahoo Finance — used to retrieve market data and financial news. No personal data is sent to Yahoo Finance.
• Google Gemini AI — used to generate portfolio analysis, simulations, and report content. When you request AI analysis, your portfolio summary (asset names and values, not personally identifiable beyond your portfolio composition) is included in the prompt.
• Vercel — hosts the Service. Vercel may collect technical logs and metadata.

Your data is stored in Supabase's cloud infrastructure with row-level security (RLS) policies that ensure only you can access your own data. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data and are not liable for unauthorized access that is beyond our reasonable control.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

Portfolio data (transactions, simulations, reports) is retained for the duration of your account and deleted upon account deletion.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data.
• Portability: Request a machine-readable export of your data.
• Objection: Object to certain types of data processing.

We use cookies to maintain your authenticated session and remember your preferences (language, theme, currency). These are essential cookies required for the Service to function correctly. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

Portfolio View is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
